As US politicians ramped up the rhetoric about building walls to keep Latinos out, Sebastian Vidal of Parallel 18 chose to do the opposite. Based in the American territory of Puerto Rico, Vidal is head of the accelerator that helps get Latin American countries their foot in the door of the US market.
Appearing at an Espacio event yesterday, Vidal spoke of the ambition bring on more Latin American countries into the fold to go along with the Mexican, Colombian and Argentina companies that have already started with the program.
They get registered in Delaware and are given the resources to take flight.
The companies at Parallel 18 are mostly in the B2B space.
